Serengeti Kati Kati Lodge (Central)

Standard Lodging (Pricing between $90 - $190 per person)

Kati Kati Camp is located in central Serengeti in northern Tanzania.

With 20 tents this is relatively large for a mobile camp. It tends to operate Dec/Mar and Jun/Oct, with guests being able to book in and out on a shared basis as they would a conventional lodge.

As with all mobile camps, the exact location is determined by the parks authorities, but Kati Kati Camp is generally located away from the core busy areas but within easy access of the best gameviewing.

Two to three nights is the usual stay duration, with the second full day providing the chance to venture further afield should the game have wandered.

Ruaha River Lodge

The Ruaha River Lodge is the cheapest accommodation in Ruaha National Park, which actually offers a good value stay. The setting is exceptional, right on the banks of the Ruaha river and the backdrop with the rolling hills is great. The only drawback is that the lodge is quite big and is not and build out of brick and stone. But that aside, it offers a great location and exceptional value. We do believe that a little extra money to stay at Mdonya Old River Camp is worth the upgrade for a better all-round experience.

Siwandu (Selous Safari Camp)

Very plush and luxurious, Selous Safari Camp is set amid mixed woodland on the shores of Lake Nzerakera, in the Selous Game Reserve. There are two different and entirely separate sections of the camp to North and South and one or both are used, depending on the number of guests. This is to ensure that the camp never feels crowded or busy. With six rooms in the North Camp, and seven in the South, both are relatively small, and both have the same excellent facilities with a similar feel, but slightly different layout.
