Arrival in Arusha – A Gentle Beginning
Scheduled travel time: Airport transfer (approx. 1 hour if arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport). Main focus: Meet & greet, unwind in a peaceful natural setting. Your journey begins at the agreed airport or meeting point, where the LuiTours team welcomes you and confirms the day’s transfer. The transfer is kept unhurried, with time to notice the first changes in landscape and settle in after the journey. On the 10-Day Ultimate Northern Tanzania Wild Experince + Hot Air Balloon, this is the main focus of day 1.



Elephant Lands – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Scheduled travel time: Approx. 2.5–3 hours. Main focus: Afternoon game drive inside Tarangire National Park. Today’s stage links Arusha with Tarangire National Park, giving the journey a clear sense of place from beginning to end. Inside Tarangire, baobab woodland and the river corridor create varied habitat. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and predators may be encountered, and your guide chooses roads according to current conditions rather than promising particular sightings.



Baobabs & Beasts – Full Day Safari in Tarangire
Scheduled travel time: Within the park. Main focus: Full-day game drive through Tarangire’s diverse habitats. A full day is set aside for Full Day Safari in Tarangire, allowing the experience to unfold without a rushed timetable. Inside Tarangire, baobab woodland and the river corridor create varied habitat. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and predators may be encountered, and your guide chooses roads according to current conditions rather than promising particular sightings.



Into the Highlands – Morning Game Drive & Transfer to Ngorongoro
Scheduled travel time: Approx. 3.5–4 hours. Main focus: Early game drive in Tarangire, scenic transfer to Ngorongoro highlands. The morning starts in Morning, with Ngorongoro as the final point on today’s route. The Ngorongoro landscape combines a forested rim with grassland, wetlands and soda-lake habitat on the crater floor. Wildlife can be diverse, but the guide reads conditions carefully and keeps every sighting patient and responsible.



Crater of Life – Safari in Ngorongoro Crater & Drive to Serengeti
Scheduled travel time: Approx. 6–7 hours including crater safari and drive to Serengeti. Main focus: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater and transfer to Serengeti. Safari in Ngorongoro Crater & Drive is the starting point for today’s journey to Serengeti. The day links the Serengeti plains with the cooler Ngorongoro highlands, passing grassland, volcanic slopes and broad viewpoints along the way. Wildlife may be encountered en route, but timing remains flexible and follows current conditions.



Timeless Serengeti – Game Drives Across the Great Plains
Scheduled travel time: Within the park. Main focus: Daily game drives through Serengeti’s diverse landscapes. The morning starts in Timeless Serengeti, with Game Drives Across the Great Plains as the final point on today’s route. The route crosses open plains, seasonal grasslands and scattered kopjes. Plains game, elephants and predators may be seen, while the location of migratory herds changes with rainfall and cannot be guaranteed.



From the Wild to the Hills – Morning Safari & Transfer to Karatu
Scheduled travel time: Approx. 5–6 hours. Main focus: Morning game drive until 11:00 AM, drive to Karatu. Today’s stage links Morning Safari & Transfer with Karatu, giving the journey a clear sense of place from beginning to end. The route moves through changing farms, villages and protected landscapes before the main wildlife activity. The guide plans stops around recent movement, water and weather, leaving time for photographs and patient observation without guaranteeing sightings.

Forests & Flamingos – Lake Manyara Safari & Return to Arusha
Scheduled travel time: Approx. 2.5–3 hours. Main focus: Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara lies beneath the Rift Valley escarpment, with groundwater forest, open floodplain and lakeshore habitat close together. Elephants, baboons, monkeys, antelope and waterbirds may be seen as conditions allow.
