Dar es Salaam to Mikumi – Arrival and Relaxation
Main focus: Scenic drive and evening at leisure. Your journey begins at the agreed airport or meeting point, where the LuiTours team welcomes you and confirms the day’s transfer. Arrival formalities and luggage are handled before the drive continues through the surrounding towns, farms and foothills. Full-Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park
Main focus: Full-day guided game drive with picnic lunch. A full day is set aside for Day Game Drive in Mikumi National Park, allowing the experience to unfold without a rushed timetable. Mikumi’s Mkata floodplain opens beneath distant mountain ranges, with woodland and seasonal water attracting varied wildlife. Elephants, giraffes, buffalo, antelope and lions may be encountered, although every drive follows current conditions. Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Udzungwa Mountains
Scheduled driving time: 1.5–2 hours. Main focus: Half-day game drive and travel to Udzungwa. The Udzungwa trail climbs through humid forest toward viewpoints or the Sanje waterfalls where included. A ranger sets a manageable walking pace and interprets plants, birds and possible primate activity along this important Eastern Arc habitat.
Hiking Adventure to Sanje Waterfall
Main focus: Guided hike to Sanje Waterfall. Hiking Adventure is the starting point for today’s journey to Sanje Waterfall.
