This 7-day safari will take you to experience Tanzania and Kenya. The tour will start Arusha and end in Nairobi. You will visit Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Masai Mara while overnight stay in mid range safari lodges and tented camps. Enjoy game drive, culture and landscapes between this two countries.

Daily Itinerary

Day 1

Arusha to Lake Manyara

Begin in northern Tanzania

After a short briefing in the morning you will head off in direction of the Lake Manyara at 8am with picnic lunch for 3 hours. Although small in dimension (205 sq. miles), the park has breathtaking scenery and well famous for its lush acacia forest, giant figs and mahogany trees, as well as to a growing population of baboons and blue monkeys. Permanent residents of this park also include giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge amount of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The landscapes of Lake Manyara are something that cannot be described with words, and the game drives along the lake provide stunning photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake in the background. Take your lunch in afternoon and have short game drive before drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Farm of Dreams lodge.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

Into the plains

After an early breakfast with picnic lunch drive to Ngorongoro crater for 40 mins. The crater is inhabited by a spectacular array of wildlife, which includes zebras, hippos, hyenas, wildebeests, warthogs and the famous “Big Five” – buffalo, rhino, lion, elephant and leopard. After extensive game viewing and a lunch at a picnic spot while dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati camp

Serengeti Game Drive

Wildlife-rich plains safari

After breakfast from the camp at 8am with picnic lunches leave for game drive. Descend into the heart of wild Africa the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see, drive kopjes where lion, cheetahs, leopards like to rest, enjoy game drive inside the park search for more animals, during evening drive to the camp for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Katikati camp

Serengeti to Masai Mara

Cross-country connection

After breakfast from the lodge depart to Masai Mara with en route game drive to the Tanzania/ Kenya boarder of Isebania 5 hours. After clearing with immigration and change vehicle and proceed to Masai Mara. Arrive for the afternoon and evening game drive. Enjoy sunset moment while dinner and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 5: Serengeti to Masai Mara
Day 6

Masai Mara Game Drive

Amboseli or Mara focus

Spend the day in Masai Mara, game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant. Game drives are flexible, with the option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. You will also have the option of visiting a local Masai village (US$20 per person). All meals and overnight at Masai Mara Sopa lodge.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

End of the East Africa safari
