Into Elephant Country – Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Scheduled travel time: About 2–3 hours. Main focus: Game viewing in Tarangire. Arusha is the starting point for today’s journey to Tarangire National Park. Inside Tarangire, baobab woodland and the river corridor create varied habitat. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and predators may be encountered, and your guide chooses roads according to current conditions rather than promising particular sightings. On the 7-Day Tanzania Mid-range Family Safari & Balloon Experience, this is the main focus of day 1.



Into the Wild – Journey to the Great Serengeti
Scheduled travel time: 5–6 hours with game viewing en route. Main focus: Sunset game drive in Serengeti. The route crosses open plains, seasonal grasslands and scattered kopjes. Plains game, elephants and predators may be seen, while the location of migratory herds changes with rainfall and cannot be guaranteed.



The Heart of the Wild – Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Main focus: Early morning and afternoon game drives. A full day is set aside for Full-Day Safari in Serengeti, allowing the experience to unfold without a rushed timetable. The route crosses open plains, seasonal grasslands and scattered kopjes. Plains game, elephants and predators may be seen, while the location of migratory herds changes with rainfall and cannot be guaranteed. On the 7-Day Tanzania Mid-range Family Safari & Balloon Experience, this is the main focus of day 3.



Sky Safari – Sunrise Balloon Ride & More Game Viewing
Main focus: Hot air balloon over Serengeti and rest day game drive. The route moves through changing farms, villages and protected landscapes before the main wildlife activity. The guide plans stops around recent movement, water and weather, leaving time for photographs and patient observation without guaranteeing sightings.



Through Changing Lands – Serengeti to Ngorongoro Highlands
Scheduled travel time: About 4–5 hours with game drive en route. Main focus: Morning game drive, afternoon scenic transfer. Serengeti is the starting point for today’s journey to Ngorongoro Highlands. The day links the Serengeti plains with the cooler Ngorongoro highlands, passing grassland, volcanic slopes and broad viewpoints along the way. Wildlife may be encountered en route, but timing remains flexible and follows current conditions.



Into Nature’s Bowl – Full-Day Safari in Ngorongoro Crater
Scheduled travel time: 1.5–2 hours after safari. Main focus: Explore the unique ecosystem of Ngorongoro. A full day is set aside for Full-Day Safari in Ngorongoro Crater, allowing the experience to unfold without a rushed timetable. The Ngorongoro landscape combines a forested rim with grassland, wetlands and soda-lake habitat on the crater floor. Wildlife can be diverse, but the guide reads conditions carefully and keeps every sighting patient and responsible.



Green Oasis – Lake Manyara Safari & Return to Arusha
Scheduled travel time: 2–3 hours plus drive to Arusha. Main focus: Game viewing in Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara lies beneath the Rift Valley escarpment, with groundwater forest, open floodplain and lakeshore habitat close together. Elephants, baboons, monkeys, antelope and waterbirds may be seen as conditions allow.
