8-Day Wildebeest Migration Safari + Balloon Experience

Main focus: Hot air balloon ride, aerial views of the Great Migration, relaxed game drive. The route moves through changing farms, villages and protected landscapes before the main wildlife activity. The guide plans stops around recent movement, water and weather, leaving time for photographs and patient observation without guaranteeing sightings.

Scheduled travel time: ~5–6 hours (game drive en route). Main focus: Transition through diverse Serengeti zones, wildlife en route. The route crosses open plains, seasonal grasslands and scattered kopjes. Plains game, elephants and predators may be seen, while the location of migratory herds changes with rainfall and cannot be guaranteed.

Scheduled travel time: ~3–4 hours to Ngorongoro with game drive. Main focus: Big cats of Seronera, classic savannah game drive, crater highland views. The day links the Serengeti plains with the cooler Ngorongoro highlands, passing grassland, volcanic slopes and broad viewpoints along the way. Wildlife may be encountered en route, but timing remains flexible and follows current conditions.

Scheduled travel time: ~1.5–2 hours descent and game drive, then ~1 hour to Karatu. Main focus: Crater floor game drive, Big Five sightings, scenic transfer to Karatu. Your guide introduces the plan for Ngorongoro to Karatu - Guided Crater Safari & Highland Escape before the day’s travel or activity gets under way. The Ngorongoro landscape combines a forested rim with grassland, wetlands and soda-lake habitat on the crater floor. Wildlife can be diverse, but the guide reads conditions carefully and keeps every sighting patient and responsible.

Scheduled travel time: ~4–5 hours including Tarangire safari, then return to Arusha. Main focus: Morning game drive in Tarangire, ancient landscapes, final wildlife encounters. You meet the guide at the agreed starting point for Tarangire Finale - Elephants & Baobabs before Return, then begin at a comfortable, unhurried pace. Inside Tarangire, baobab woodland and the river corridor create varied habitat. Elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelope and predators may be encountered, and your guide chooses roads according to current conditions rather than promising particular sightings.
